Well the students are slowly arriving, in various conditions.
One student missed her flight from DC. OUCH. She gets here tomorrow now instead.
Another student arrived without his luggage. His airline, EASY JET, can't even promise that they will deliver it to him. He has to pick it up somewhere tomorrow.
My local cell phone and the Resident Assistant's phone are both not working, which was perfect, especially since I was on the phone with my Impulstanz contact, trying to finalize the dance concert ticket package for my group. Sweet.
Otherwise, no complaints.
Today we ate the famed pork knee. Oh, and it was fabulous. A picture says a thousand words. Evie loved the Prater amusement park where our restaurant was too...check her out petting the ponies that pulled the carousel. Yep, they have LIVE ponies pulling their carousels in Europe.
EasyJet??? He should have seen that coming. It's "easy" because you don't have any luggage to tote to your destination after you land.
ReplyDeleteBut let's get to the real crisis: WHAT is that green stuff on your Schweizerhaus plate. It looks suspiciously like salad. And I know for a FACT that the pork knee does NOT come with salad. It comes with horseradish and beer. Somebody has some splaining to do.
The horsies. Love them. Did you see the sign at the Prater entrance, by the way? The one that said "Hier ist where American Frau wins her age group in 7 kilometer race." They should have given you a parkwide discount, just by association.
Christina here again. that was coleslaw. Not salad- I swear! It was vinegary and yummy. Your picture is next to that sign, Alyssa...we should have taken a picture but Jeffrey broke our lens. (I'll let him BLOG about that one).
